I have a yellow head sleeper goby that its been in my tank for 6 month and eats mysis shrimp but im about to start my new tank and is gonna be a barebottom tank would it be ok. He is one of my favorite fish other than he dumps sand on all my corals but I will like to keep him.

If you want a bare bottom tank, I would add a container with sand to accommodate the sand sifting nature of the goby.

If I add a container he will have it empty in a day. This fish will redo my sand every day I can imagine what he will do to a container with sand.

....+1. I wouldn't recommend a barebottom if you want to keep that fish
