I use prazi as part of my qt regime.
It's probably the safest med there is to use on a fish, so I advocate it's prophylactic use in QT.

Hey there! I'm back. So, you can just do a regular water change and run Carbon to strip the meds out of the tank. Carbon first then a water change, but leave the carbon in there for a day. When your ready to start the prazi, take the carbon out.

I try to observe and condition first, then prazi then copper or hypo depending on fish. I'm going to use chloroquine phosphate next time.I will too frm now on lol. Which one do you do 1st if you use copper?
Do you do the prazi as directed on bottle? I've been told that this is really a low and sometimes ineffective dose.

Ok so add the carbon for at least a full day before i do a WC right? Then let the carbon run until im ready to dose the prazi? And dnt worry about the things in my hob filter?
You can use Prazipro along with Cupramine, it's been proven to be safe and dropping copper in the middle of treatment or before the end of copper treatment period is not recommendedOk so add the carbon for at least a full day before i do a WC right? Just a simple question, what type/brand of copper are you using?

So your done with 30 days copper and ready to dose prazi? You got it. You dont have to worry about any lingering copper that might be in the filter, though I wouldn't expect much to hang around. They wont react poorly with each other. Carbon and water change then start your prazi when your ready. Just remove the carbon when your ready
So should i not use the carbon to start removing some of the copper. I havent done anything different so im thibking its the copper tht is making him not eat so i wanted to remove it frm the qt now and once he starts eating i would start the prazi? Good idea or no?
