I recently purchased a yellow watchman goby for my 15 gallon tank and I also have 2 clowns in it , my goby would hangout at the bottom of the tank for the first week and a half and looked relaxed but ever since it has been swimming crazy around the tank and jumping into the filter sock from time to time and not resting just constantly swimming , I’ve checked ammonia , nitrite , nitrate , ph and salinity constantly and everything looks perfect, he is eating but I’m not sure what else to do to get him to calm down , he also has a little cave and tunnel , can someone help or give any suggestions ? Also added a pistol shrimp 5 days ago to maybe help

I would try to flee a 15 gallon with 2 clowns as well. My female clown in my 30 gallon bullied my YWG relentlessly. Unfortunately I feel the only realistic solution is to either get a bigger tank or remove the YWG.

is the cave big enough for the clowns to follow? Can you post a picture?

15 gallon may be too small for 2 clowns and a watchman. I was trying to quarantine exactly this combination in 20G/80L tank and had to split them after 30 minutes. The clowns were not even bulling the goby, they were just... overwhelming.

I would provide the goby with numerous small crevices. Really, really small. YWG can fit and likes to hide in impossible places. Also, cover the tank better than well. They can jump out through the tiniest gaps. If this is AIO tank I would suggest covering the sock compartment as well, as it can squeeze into it - as you have seen, and jump out from there... don't ask how I know.

Edit: Good idea with the shrimp. Even if they don't pair right away, a shrimp seems to have a calming influence on watchman. Does they have sand? BTW, keep the lights down. Provide day-night routine, but muted. Both YWG and pistol shrimp have excellent vision and bright light can be upsetting.
