My opinion lol
With most wrasse the male has more vibrant colors but with many leopards the opposite. And honestly don’t think the males are ugly just less pretty.

I’ve heard others say the same thing, so you’re not the only one. I really like the male coloration. I like the female coloration too. They’re just different.
