This hobby can be expensive, frustrating, and well worth it.
every time I do business with a large business I feel like my best interests may not be at heart. I understand, a business needs to make money. I try to spend as much $$ at LFS instead of Amazon or eBay.
I just purchase orange shoulder tang from an extremely nice and friendly person on this forum. All of my best livestock and equipment have been a deal where I am getting the “long” end of the stick, if you will. I always try to hook it up with couple free frags or supplies when exchanging goods with fellow reefer. I have been given that same respect, now enough times it is no longer coincidence.
if you are not using the fellow reefing community as first option to get equipment and livestock you may be doing it wrong!!
