You and Your Screen Name

"Euphylliaphyle" because I love Euphyllia. I just liked the pseudoalliterative sound of it and absolutely had to change my UID. Until literally last night, I was "A. R.," my first and middle initial. Talk about boring? Also, Reefer Madness was already taken.

I have been reefing since the 1990's. Doesn't seem that long but dang it's been a fun ride. I go gaga for SPS and Wrasses. I can make fish faces with them every time I am at my tank.:face-with-hand-over-mouth: I currently have a 60B with a 40B sump. In the planning stages to upgrade to a large tank. It has always baffled me when I see folks posting threads called "Help Me Stock My Tank" "Or What Fish Should I Get". Whether a Nano or a 500g custom install - and you don't know what fish you want??

So do you live up to your Screen Name?

So this is Fishface NJ's list of fish are:

  • Yasha Goby
  • Hector Goby
  • Yellow Wrasse
  • McCosker Wrasse
  • Blue Star Leopard Wrasse
  • Radiant Wrasse
  • Helfrichi Firefish
  • Midas Blenny
Cheers!

Oh, and these are my fishes:

Toby the Goby (Yellow Clown)
Wally the Wrasse (Six Line)
Christopher Chromis
Dotty the Dottyback (Neon)
Petey the Pygmy (Cherub Angelfish)
and
Trudy the Banggai Cardinalfish. I don’t know why.

Mine is boring and simple, name is Michael and born in 1971. Plus if i were born 2 years earlier my screen name would be inappropriate for a family friendly forum. 😂 currently tankless as we relocate in 7 days and counting. But my IM ext 100 build will be starting late february. Stocking list of coral is extensive with mixed lps, sps and lots of shrooms, but fish will be as follows to start.

Pair of clowns
Sixline wrasse
Hopefully mated pair of pearly jawfish if not a single.
Tail spot blenny
High fin banded goby and pistol shrimp

And these two are in the maybe category
Either flame or coral beauty angel
Falco or longnose hawkfish

These are maybe because i will be doing squamosa and deresa clams😁 as well as a pair of caribbean coral banded shrimp

Tangdora. Spin off of Pandora, the world from the movie Avatar. As I’m sure most have seen, the bioluminescent world at night resembles that off a reef tank under blue light. And because of this I follow one simple rule when picking coral. “If it don’t glow it don’t go……(in the tank)”. The Tang aspect of the name is simply my love of tangs. Currently sitting at 14, soon to be 16 with and Achilles and convict actively undergoing QT

Yellow
Hippo
Clown
Scoptas
Naso
Gem
Powder blue
Powder brown
White tail bristle tooth
Purple
Chocolate
Tomoni
Dussumieri
Desjardini Sailfin

I decided to change my screen name to reflect my intentions of being here only as a hobbyist. I have all different types of coral, but more sps than others.
