I thought it wasn’t a high chance of them eating cyano? Like 60 no 40 yes?
Actually, Koumansetta species are known for being great Cyano eaters it’s other sand sifters that tend to be iffy IME.

I'm excited. Wanted an anampses for a while!
Personally don’t know if I’m going to go the anampses route, but if I do I would like the neoguinaicus or chrysocephalus

So you'd go for either the cheapest or most expensive :face-with-tears-of-joy: . The neoguinaicus doesn't do it for me while the chrysophalus is a dream that probably won't come true.

Well… Chrysocephalus will be a wishlist fish for both of us for a while…
Neoguinaicus though, now that’s one you can do ;)

The chrysocephalus used to be in the low double digits over here… I took that for granted more than once and now look where it got me. Wishing I had gotten that .5-1” juvenile I saw the week before Hawaii shut down.

Don’t say that. In this hobby you never know.

Unless I find it first ;)

Photo time! It's annoying how much the lateral lines glow to my eyes but it is not captured by my camera.

Test results time:
Don't have a fancy display with nice colored bars like @i cant think so I'll have to use emoji's
Temperature: 81:face-with-thermometer:
Salinity: 2.024 :face-with-spiral-eyes:
Nitrate: 0-5 :grimacing-face:
Phosphate: 0.22 :grinning-face-with-big-eyes:
pH: 8.2 :grinning-face-with-smiling-eyes:
Alkalinity: 11.2 :expressionless-face:

In other news I moved the urchin from my eel tank over and have recovered all my mexican turbos from the sump to fight a small amount of hair algae that has appeared. Unfortunately the new urchin kidnapped the new mushroom:

That urchins just taking him on a tour of the tank! And when the mushroom doesn’t pay… he’ll be left on a random street.

Picture of the uglies. Almost all the hair is on the two rocks in this picture. Which luckily is in the back corner of my tank. From the front you can't see any hair Algae. There are also usually 3-4 small patches of cyano (at the top and left of the photo) which also love that back corner.

The uglies are natural!
And I wouldn’t say that this photo is ugly either :)
