Actually, Koumansetta species are known for being great Cyano eaters it’s other sand sifters that tend to be iffy IME.

So you'd go for either the cheapest or most expensive . The neoguinaicus doesn't do it for me while the chrysophalus is a dream that probably won't come true.

The chrysocephalus used to be in the low double digits over here… I took that for granted more than once and now look where it got me. Wishing I had gotten that .5-1” juvenile I saw the week before Hawaii shut down.

Picture of the uglies. Almost all the hair is on the two rocks in this picture. Which luckily is in the back corner of my tank. From the front you can't see any hair Algae. There are also usually 3-4 small patches of cyano (at the top and left of the photo) which also love that back corner.
