My mushroom garden. Especially stoked that my little eclectus finally seems like it will stay out in my show tank after many months back and forth from a shroom box trying to get it to reattach.

My all time favorite coral that I could not do without, which I also currently own, is the Oregon tort. In my opinion there is nothing that can compete with its deep blue beauty. @OP- seems you are leaning more toward lps and zoas but if you ever decide you wanna venture into sps I HIGHLY recommend the Oregon tort, the real Oregon tort though not the many knock offs, and I promise you will not be disappointed
This Vivid's Rainbow I got from BSA is my fave right now. Here's the progression from his pic when he sold it here on R2R to today.
A few months ago:
And a pic I took today:
I have mine mounted on a rock on the back wall approximately 6 to 8" below the water surface. My experience and what others have said is this is a very slow developing coral. That's actually how mine wound up on the back wall. It was just kinda meh when I got it. So I threw it back there and forgot about it. After a lot of my tanks ups and Downs, It's manage to survive.I have a piece of this from Ben as well and i cannot get it to color up to save my life. Every other acro i have is vibrant and appropriately colored. It has shown awesome growth, but its just bland, not even brown. I have it in a fairly high par area around 400+.
Where do you have your piece mounted?
Mine is this photosynthetic gorgonian...bought at Petco(of all places!) for $10...color isn't anything special, but I like the way it sways in the current and it'slarge size, approx 15" tall.
