120 Gallon Shallow Rimless Build

Bought a new house and decided to build a new tank rather than transfer all of the stuff from my 90 cube, I decided to build a new reef. The new tank is 72x24x16 rimless. It will be predominantly SPS reef with a few LPS pieces mixed in. I actually started this build last Sept. Just getting around to a build thread.

Decided on a modern looking stand. It is 40 inches tall. Painted grey to match the cabinets in my house and sealed the interior really well with caulking and multiple coats of kilz.

Went with a trigger systems sump. Really pleased with the build quality.

Painted the back black.

Filling it up. Going with two MP40s for flow for now. 3 radion gen4 pros for lighting. Stuck with my deltec 3155 skimmer, but just temporarily. Its a little undersized. Aquascaped with some Marco rock and live rock from my previous tank.

Ended up with a Red Sea Reefer 600 skimmer.

Built some rails out of stainless to mount all three lights and doors installed. Still needed to sync up the lights here.

Tried to leave the aquascape pretty open to allow the tangs to cruise and plenty of room for the sticks to grow in.
