Wow i had just talked to him the night before. What happened anyone know?

His wife, Kaye, informed me that he passed from a very sudden massive heart attack. I'm not sure if anyone here knows that Randy was a wildlife rehabilitator/rescuer.

This is so sad. He was a good guy with a wealth of knowledge and I will surely miss talking to him. My prayers are with his family. I live too far away to help in person, but would be honored to help in any other way.

I just saw this. I'm sorry to hear of his passing. He had a great deal of knowledge and always looked at things from a different perspective.
I was coming here to find his tutorial on the temp controller he made and found this thread.
His knowledge will be miss, but it will live on in forums like this.
