The ones from aquarium coop are the best in hatching and price. The shells rise and allow you to harvest the shrimp easier and cleaner. I run 2 ziess hatcheries with there usb air pumps from them to feed my baby freshwater fish that I raise. I also throw some in my saltwater and the fish love them. I made 2 batches from brs and threw them away. To many shells in harvest. Keep the eggs in the fridge.

Consider decapsulated eggs as those can be fed direct before hatching and any that don’t hatch can be fed as well therefore getting 100% nutrition yet not having to deal with the possibility of egg shells being introduced that could cause issues. Pricy. Short shelf life. Just an option depending on need.

@hart24601 and I use SEP-ART from INVE aquaculture. In brief, they're high hatch-rate (80%) Brine Shrimp Eggs which are embedded with a magnetic coating, which makes it super easy to separate out the shells and BBS with a magnet.

They were surprisingly economical too. I ordered a can of 425grams (15oz) from ARTEMIA INTERNATIONAL, LLC for ~$79 shipped. That comes out to a $5 an oz, which is comparable to the Premium Brine Shrimp Eggs listed on BRS. They aren't listed on the Artemia-International website, so you have to email them about the Sep-Art to place an order.

While some reefers may be concerned about the safety of the magnetic coating, these brine shrimp eggs appear overall safe in a reef/coral setting. They're used in major scientific studies about coral feeding. I can provide the studies if you're interested.

The San Francisco Bay Brand off Amazon had a lot higher hatch rate than the BRS bottle I'm currently using. Once I'm done with this BRS bottle I'll go back to it or try another brand.

Here is info on the shell free hatching eggs. I used these for my jelly fish. They had a great hatch rate, you do not have to worry about shells and can feed them if they hatched or not.
