Well I added 2 more nassarius and 2 more hermits to help with uneaten food and moving the sand bed. My cuc now has 4 hermits, 3 nassarius, 5 astrea, 5 ceriths, and 1 nerite. Just want to add a couple trochus and I'll be done I think, if I can ever find any for sale locally. Also bought some lrs reef frenzy nano that I'll try feeding. Wanted to add something besides frozen mysis. I have pellets too but only the clown will eat them
Tested nitrates for the first time in over a week and once again they are between 12-16ppm. Seems like they are exactly the same no matter what I do or what day I test. Everything is doing good and the tank looks good though. I've been keepin up with 2 five gallon water changes a week which is a lot. I've been feeding as little as possible. I'm to the point where I'm about to just stop worrying about it and let it be. But I really want to keep a lot of sps. Hopefully this eventually gets better.
Did a water change yesterday, today nitrates tested at 12ppm. I'm starting to think the nitrates are leaching from the old dry rock I used so at this point I'm just not going to worry about it and hope they eventually lower. Phos tested at .009 so I'm pretty sure I'm not feeding to much or anything like that.
On a side note the wrasses eye looks 100% better now [emoji3]
Permanently placed the rastas and monti cap today. Also figured out my lfs has some amazing corals and tons of acro in the back that they usually only sell online! Very good to know haha. #reef2reef #worldwidecorals #mywwccontest
Well I haven't updated in forever so here it is. Unfortunately my sixline died about a week ago :/ I think he got stung by the waspfish, he would always try to steal food from him. Everything else is doing good. I'm thinking I'm going to sell the waspfish and get another sixline so I'll just have the clown and the sixline. Also added an acan frag today
