Hello. I have the zar 157. Do you just chose the preset of how many rock you using or use the x2 flow rate? The preset flow rate is way lower than what kz recommend but if use the x2 flow rate the auto flush won't work properly.

Yes on the zar u chose the flow rate base on how much zeolite u put in. So 1l = flow 1 and so on.

Thanks again for answering my question. Don't you think 360L/H is too slow for 1.8L zeolite? Or lower is OK, just don't exceed the maximum flow?

From kz 14 cycle
"Start the ZEOvit® filter and skimmer.Use 1 liter ZEOvit® for each net 400 liter (100 US gallons) of water tank volume. Do not exceed flow rate through the filter of 400 liter (100 US gallons) per hour maximum per each 1liter ZEOvit®. Make sure to run the reactor with a continous flow."

Its ok if the flow is less. I add or subtract my additives base on how my tank look. Most of the time my dosage is completely off from the zeo guide :)

That's why you're an expert.:D
I follow the zeovit forum very closely and base on my observation the failure is some what created by over dose. Each tank reacts differently. 1 drop per gallon can’t fit all.

Is it possible to have Zeo in a automatic doser? I work out of town, so automation is key. Can this be done? I love the results it gives.

I started using Flatworm Stop and Coral Booster 3 weeks ago because I was having tissue loss. I didn't find evidence of Flatworms but it was my best guess as everything in the tank is stable. The tank improved in just a few days and is now well on it's way to full recovery. Made me a believer in their products and I plan to continue dosing those two for the life of the tank. Maybe I'll expand on those and use more of the Zeo system.

Yes u can but some will be more complicated than other because u need a small frig to keep it cold like zeobak, zeostart3 and coral vitalizer. Also u need a good doser like ghl so it can dose drops

Flatworm stop is a wonderful product. You will see the base of your corals grow much better. When the base is solid the coral will take off and grow faster.

How would that work tho. There would always be residual in the dosing lines. I need a dosing pump regardless, and was looking at the GHL

So your diluting the solution to avoid stuff in the fridge from going bad in the line
I don’t think you need to refrigerate ZeoStart; just make sure you sterilize the container first. KZ suggests to keep ZeoBak and CV cool. I refrigerate and still manually dose those two.

@RJKain-777, in addition to Anthony, the Zeovit.com form has a wealth of knowledge in there general discussion area. Look for the FAQ document. It has the dosing instructions as well as lots of other useful advice. Of coarse, Anthony is still the master :).

How much rock or sand do u have? It has to be balance for the system to work. Nowadays reefer like less rock and bare bottom. It might look good but it reduces a lot of surface area for the bacteria to populate. If you nutrients production is larger than the bacteria consumption then your nutrients will keep rising or not reduce.
