Most zip ties will be just fine the ones you have to watch out for are ones with a metal clip inside them instead of a plastic one. They are more expensive and harder to find so you probably won't come across many but they are out there.

Most all zip ties should be reef safe. I still would suggest that you check the type of plastic. You will often find nylon66 and occasionally polypropylene (as well as some other plastics for specialty uses).

Salt water will cause flexible plastics to lose their plasticity. I've had zip ties become brittle and fail at the 10 to 15 year mark. That hasn't made me stop using them. But, when they fail in your tank, I hope the damage is minor.
