I have this colony with about 30 polyps of Rasta and 30 polyps of Radioactive Dragon Eyes. About what would this typically go for? Bad pic, zoomed in IPhone with no filters.

Just look up an average price per polyp of the zoas and start counting the heads of each type. Most people do a slightly lower price than what the cost of each head would be considering the volume of the sale.

I’m not trying to sell it, just seeing how good of a deal I got for them.

I paid $75 for all. I’ve seen much higher prices per polyp when I looked quick online. I’d like to add some more zoas, but can’t pull the trigger on $30+ per polyp. I’ve seen some at $1,000 per polyp.

I think you got a good price considering that Rastas can go for more than $5 per polyp.

That's a bit expensive IMO but not terrible
$75 for roughly 60 polyps is priced high? These are my first zoas, hence the reason for the post. The prices I see online for even 2-3 polyps are more than I paid for 60.

$75 for both GOOD price. Dragon eyes- Ive paid $50 for approx. 60+ polyps. Rasta would be about $80-100

I used to give rastas away, couldn't give radioactive dragon eyes away. From a hobbyist point a view, 5-10 per frag with 5 10 polyps max for rastas is what I sold them for. From a store owners view, you got a good deal. Just my opinion.

Anyone out there have some nice zoa frags of 5-10 polyps for $5-10? Looking to get some color in my tank!
Give those rastas some time, once they take off they grow very well. If you notice the dragon eyes taking over then you might need to frag them off. I gave rastas there own spot on a bare bottom tank, looked really cool

I just bought Rastas from a LFS for $10 a polyp. And that seems to be the cheapest I've seen in my LFS near me.

Probably beating a dead horse but shop around. While we need to support our brick and mortars most hobbyists can serve you up a beefy chunk of rastas for less- provided you’re willing to pay shipping.

An important caveat is that location does affect pricing as well.

I think I got a great deal compared to what I’m seeing for sale online. I’d like to get a few other Zoas, bright colors, but I won’t pay $30+ per polyp like most want. I’m in DesMoines IA if anyone local has a few nice frags
