I have both of these Zoas I got from a pretty reputable lfs but they couldn’t give me a positive ID on the exact name. I got them a while ago and have always wondered what they could be. I love how they look and they’ve grown a good amount in just a month. 2nd picture, the zoa in the bottom left is a stargazer zoa, mostly wanting ID on the first picture and the top one in the 2nd next to where my Midas blenny likes to perch himself. Any help is appreciated.

Not sure on the first, but the one in the second might be Seduction Zoas, matches my seductions for sure.

Also think the one on the left bottom might be daisy Zoas and not stargazer?

Seduction zoa looks really close, almost exact actually. And it’s definitely stargazer zoa, I double checked just now the daisy and it looks different. I appreciate your feedback though!

Funny you say that, because I’m pretty sure stargazers and daisy cutter zoas are the exact same variants just named differently. Not sure what differences you saw.

Same with pinwheel zoa

Huh I must’ve seen a different picture, u just looked it up again and they do look almost exactly the same. When I bought them they were labeled as stargazers, I always get confused with the different names

Yea I think it’s widely accepted they are the same things. Just names to drive up sales

Stargazers are basically just pinwheels with extra stuff

But different enough I guess

I have pinwheels in my tank right now and the speckling in the middle is less pronounced. So I'd say those are stargazers

I’m willing to bet these differences are just down to zoas expressing themselves differently in different tanks.

Stargazers = daisy cutters = pinwheels

From what I can see by pictures the JF Stargazers are more prominently white and blue streaked in the middle, and the base colour changes to more purple. That could be lighting but the streaking is genes
