Be careful what you wish for...Thank you! I’d like to get rid of some on the outer edges though. There is also another acro below them that is not liking the contact and I like the acro better.
That was EXACTLY the thread I wanted to bookmark for sharing 'metal straw tip'King Midas zoa toxicity?
I have too many of these, and I want to get them trimmed back. My first thought is just to go at them with scissors and forceps, try to yank a bunch out so other things can take the space over. Obviously I would like to not poison myself and my tank by doing so. These aren't one of the toxic...www.reef2reef.com
There is a video in this thread.
You could also talk to your local reef stores and see if they'll let you trade in. We do that and get store credit (they give wholesale, but they save by not having to pay shipping and it gives them more variety (and often healthier!). My last visit I walked out with a new test kit plus lots of frozen food and pods but my bill was almost nothing due to store credit from giving them coral and fish (aggressive).I have got some off and fragged them. Now I need someone that wants to take them home.
Utter chaos? Don't just bin them. Frag them and sell. You'll probably make at least 100$ or so.
