Hi there! I am a newbie, so I’m still in the process of researching all the things... However, I cannot find a single thread with my dilemma. Lol.

Long and short, my pearly jawhead has stolen a fairy dust zoa colony frag. He’s not only stolen said frag, he’s taken it so deep into his burrow, I’m afraid to go poking around in there to get it out!

Image 1: cute thief with his stolen goods. (Sorry didnt get a better picture!)
Image 2: zoa frag on left, possibly new PJF dinning table.

My questions:
1. Is this ‘normal’ behavior?
2. Do I attempt to retrieve the frag?
3. Do I do nothing and leave everything as is? I’m terrified it’ll mess with my water parameters.

Thank you all so much in advance!

Pretty typical, he most likely won’t return it. You can add pieces of rubble and empty shells to give him items to build his burrow; hopefully they are more attractive to him than your frags!

Yeah, they take rubble and things to build with. You may be able to get that back out with some long tweezers. I would move your other zoas away from him and/or glue them down, so he can't steal more.
