Zoas closing at a specific time everyday

Hey guys I want to get a little bit to help my zoanthids Are closing up every day right around 12 to about 3:00 p.m. I don't know why my calcium is around 4:00 my alkalinity is a 9 point to my magnesium is that 14:00 My nitrates are about 5. I have check my lighting and I did the specs to the BRS SpecsI really don't know what to do I am dosing in a 24 hour. At those very small amount every hour

That is odd. Is it one colony or several throughout the tank?
Does your flow change in the day?

What's your lighting setting during that time period?

Could also be a pest coming out picking on them during thst time....

Its all my zoas I know its odd as far as current it does not change it only slows down at night as far as lighting goes im using 2 hydra 26 il post a picture of my settings

Lighting. Try lowering the intensity a bit and see if that helps

These are my setting they are the BRS settings for lps I had it at sps settings so I turned them down so I should just leave it or still turn them down a bit I think it has to do with lighting for sure ill try bringing it down a little more

Depends, if it‘s a mixed tank with sps/lps just leave it, the zoa‘s will adapt.
 

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
