Welcome and great to see new people growing the hobby locally.

I'd encourage you to come to one of the meetings. Its always good to look at other peoples setups to get ideas for improving your own.

I dont know if I count, but HI

Im close to chattanooga, well about an hour away in the N. Ga mountains.

My name is Jeff and I took the reef plunge 2 months ago.
I have been in the hobby for many years with SW fish, but new to reefs. I currently have an Aquapod 24 reef setup with:
hammer coral frag,
2 pom pom xenia clusters,
sm miami hurricane zoa cluster,
sm unknown zoa cluster (purple with green skirt, only 2 heads right now)
kenya tree frag,
GSP,
1 mushroom
1 silver yuma,
1 hairy mushroom,
1 flower anemone,
8 blue leg hermits,
2 peppermint shrimp,
1 astrea snail,
1 cerinth snail,
1 turbo snail,
1 brown banded serpent star named Kawfee,
1 HUGE serpent star named Earl,
1 false perc named Tank
and I finally got my 6 line wrasse!!!

This week I just ordered a 75 gallon reef ready tank that will be up and running in about a month or two. Anyway just thought I would say HI, I just found this forum today.

He meant we had over 20 people trading/selling corals.

There were alot more people than just 20 at the event, just so no one gets confused.

And the meetings are always on weekends too, so you need to come to one, just to see the tanks! The next meeting is June 7th in Cleveland which isn't THAT far away from north GA and Chattanooga. You'd both be very welcome. Hope to see you!!

hello, I stumbled across this site from a link in Reef central. I have been in this obsessed hobby now for three years. I live in north alabama, only about an hour drive from chattanooga. This year will be my first frag swap, i am really looking forward to meeting some of you saturday after next. I am currently having to drive 45 min- 90 min one way to a lfs. I have visited bermuda, but mainly have done my shopping at the living reef in Rainbow city, AL. They are fixing to close so I am trying to find another good reliable lfs--where is the 5th?

if you come to the swap the owner of 5th day will be there, he can give you good directions, or ask any of us when you get to the swap and we can help you find it.
