Hey R2R fam I would LOVE your feedback on this!

If you were to enroll in college to become a "master aquarist" and you had to take a "Reefing 101" class, what would the topics of the class be?

Help us list out the topics that would we included in the class syllabus!

Example: Beginner Testing - The most important water tests for starting up a new reef tank!

I would start with the basics like human behavior. Patience, and a willing attitude are key. This isn’t a hobby for impatient and lazy people, imo. Then branch out to the actual basics of reefing, such as where to look for equipment and support to get started.

Here's a couple I thought of. Reef-keeping fundamentals. Fish management and how fish work in your tank. Basics to reefing chemistry. Hitchhikers and other reef pest.

Set it and forget it: Do you change your aquascape as your corals grow?
