Unfortunately, I don't have any metal working skills, nor do I own one of these, however since I started a thread for the wooden ones I figured it was only fair to start one for those with metal stands as well. So lets see some pictures of those custom metal canopies and stands.
 
Nobody on here has a custom metal stand?

Are you guys just using spraypaint to coat these things or are you powdercoating them to hold up better?
 
here's mine it is not skinned yet. has custom light rack that i can move up and down and in and out when i need to work on the tank. front has braces for two sets of dj switches and panels alon the side for my eb8's and apex brain

Is that sprayed on or brushed on?

Have you have problems with the paint chipping/peeling off?

The truck liner can be brushed on, they sell kits, i think northern tool has them

I haven't had any issues with chipping or peeling, I prepped it pretty well, good primer and lots of coats

Nice, why would u skin it and hide the beauty of the steel?
 
I like those metal stands, they look great. Anybody ever line the inside with wood for a metal/wood stand look? Just curious, as my buddy was going to do this on his.
