Ok I started a thread on Michiganreefers because well im from michigan. I just added water today and am getting the salinity up so I can order LR and LS package from tampabaysaltwater.com. Anywho onto the pictures (I will have more but dont have time to post them all). Sorry some are thumbnails some are full res. I try to do as much thumbnails as possible to make things look "neater".

mostly sps and hopefully a piece of bali tricolor that I am on a waiting list for (another sps). I might add a couple zoas and some mushrooms but this tank has 1 250w HQI setup running a 14000k phoenix bulb.

Be careful with that fuge light being so close to the return hose.

Great start btw and can we get inside pictures of the overflow? Looks like a good idea on that piece!

fuge light doesnt get that hot because its a spiral flourescent bulb inside its own enclosed reflector so it stays very cool. and its actually about 2" away from it.

the last pic shows the overflow in action. The middle actually has baffles in it and then their is a blue piece going across the top of the baffles. Oh and the second picture shows the tank with the mooncomputer Moonlights on :D.

Update showing the LR and LS I just got. I took these about 15 min AFTER I put the lr and ls in this tank. I put 3 HUGE pieces on the bottom and then put the sand in and then put the smaller pieces in.

thanks :D.

Sorry for the blurry pics. The night setting on this camera is touchy and I cant find my tripod so that I can take steady pics. This is the moonlighting at 45%.

Figured I would post up a pic of my anemone. Right now the suns shining through so its overpowering the moon lights but the moon lighting is on at 9% brightness. Wont be long and it will be back to 100% :D.

thanks ocean.

Trying to decide if my anemone is growing another tenti or if its just some deformity. Either way im bout ready to sell the thing since it keeps moving and killing corals. I only bought 5 corals and 2 are dead 1 is on its way out. the other 2 are high in the tank and where the anemone hasnt gone yet but those 2 were under higher lighting than my 250w hqi 14k phoenix bulbs.

*edit haha guess I dont need to post the pics twice in one thread.
