    ID for tiny sand worm

Found this little guy making trails through my sandbed, it's no more than 5 mm long, has two eyes and mandables, as well as front grabbers that resemble what a shrimp has, and then the rest of its body is long and shrimp like. I'm hoping it's a type of pod, but I'm worried it's a bristle worm...

    Spionid worm ID verification

Hello fellow Reefers! I made a post a few days ago asking for help validating some hitchhiker ID's I made. It didn't garner too much attention, but for the most part I got the answers I was looking for, with one exception (sort of). At first I thought there was some Aptasia in my Acan colony...

Weird worm looking thing on fox coral?

Hello all, I was recently looking at my fox coral when I noticed this weird worm looking structure on the side of its skeleton. It seems to have a pattern of some sort? It’s not reactive to any touch or movement and it seems hard, almost like it’s a part of the skeleton. Could it just be a weird...

    Please help me identify this

Hello please help me identify this on my GSP coral. It doesn’t seem to bother my GSP too much as it still fully opens up during the day. But it’s white and semi transparent. Looks to be firm and doesn’t move with the current. Web like appearance.

Anyone know what this critter is?

I just cleaned a bunch of algae out of my sump and found these critters that look like tiny smooth (no hair or bristles that I can see) caterpillars. I’ve never seen these. In the photos they look flat, but they aren’t. They are nice and chunky. Any help on an ID is appreciated!

Can you help me identify what this little critter could be!?

I got a good deal on some live rock from a gentleman on Facebook probably about 50 lb for about 80 bucks. The rock looks good supposedly he was storing it in a container with a powerhead and heater I don't know if I believe the heater part but besides that The Rock is definitely covered in...

Asterina starfish is a pest! Attacking fish!

So I have a large population of asterina stars. I appreciate some people have no problem with them and actually value them as part of their cleanup crew. I’ve noticed them eating my Zoa’s and I’ve been doing some manual removal but never thought they would pose a risk to fish. Checked the tank...

    Feather duster or pest?

Hello all! During a sand bed cleaning I just bumped my trachyphyllia that I've had for about 2 months. It looks like there is a feather duster worm hitchhiking on the bottom. Is this a feather duster worm and it's harmless? Or is it something else? Should I remove it? If so, how? Thanks in advance!

    Mantis shrimp

Hello, I just found a mantis shrimp in my new tank that came from live ocean rock. With what I’m seeing online I’m not sure if this is a good thing.
