It’s a Youngstown thing. Yes french fries on top. Ok, I know what you are thinking because I thought the same thing. Moved back from St. Louis after finishing school and went to lunch with a friend. I asked him what was good here and he suggested the grilled chicken or steak salad and it comes with fries. When they brought my order I asked “what’s this.” He said trust me you’ll like it. Probably my favorite salad. Every restaurant in town serves it. I have never seen it on a menu outside of Youngstown.
