Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Let me see if I can explain this well hahaha
I think I have a small problem in the sump, when the water falls from the tank towards the drain compartment, I think the water level needs to rise enough so that it passes into chamber 1 exclusively through the filter socks, what happens is that a little bit of water is passing through below, I don't think it's normal, but could it be?

Got my Huma a month ago. Dream fish for me. Named him Elvis.

Excellent!!
It's like having a dog!
Hand feed, give them lots of personal attention.
Beautiful fish!
They say they can see in 3D, just like us.
It's a trip.
Mine is named Moe.

Yes normal Luis
Mine is filter sock, through the sock and under into skimmer chamber, which is #2.
Mine has a safety where if the sock is clogged it will just overflow into the skimmer chamber.

I understand that Joel, the problem is that my English doesn't let me explain myself well hahaha, between chamber 2 and 3 there is a connection below but between the drain compartment and chamber 1 water passes underneath when I think it shouldn't, I think the problem is the silicone

ok waiting for coffee and studying this for ya...then I can MacGiver it for ya...

ok Luis....had a few sips and been looking at your vid and your comments about your observations....I never seen and everything I have build the drain (I call chamber#1) always is closed and forces water to go two ways...ONE fill up and go up and over a wall into chamber2....or I have seen where chamber 1 is completely sealed with a internal wall which forces the water under a wall and up and over into chamber 2...to keep it quite and also act as a bubble break.
So i have to agree with you the silicone must have a leak in drain chamber...AKA as I call them Chamber 1..

That chamber could be resealed but it's fine to have some bypass.

Last weekend was green beans, today it's deer meat from last season that was in the freezer time to make room in the freezer for this year's harvest. Almost time to start hunting!

Cool Cool Cool your English is fine.
No problem with a little bypass there Luis like Tim said it won't hurt anything I wouldn't worry about it.
