So yall ready for some pictures? I went to cultivated reef today and they gave me what they called a neighborly deal. Tell me what yall think. I got some zoas for the wife's zoa garden, one came with some superman montipora encrusting the plug. Got a rainbow chalice, got a spliced/grafted? Montipora with some different zoas growing on it, and i got a pair of candy canes. 140$

(Not much different here, but I got my first skimmate harvest!)

All the wires are neatly organized on the lowest level of this area. It took hours, but they are all super neat, and out of the way!!

So1 would be the montipora digitata i got yesterday.
2 is where i think my zoa garden will go.
3 i included a se and photo to show the other side but im unsure of that but thinking right in the crook of the rock just off the sand bed?
4 is where I was thinking of putting the grafted monti so that it will grow out into the open area and then I can place more low light corals down below?
And 5 would be my chalice, with room between that and the zoas of course

Im not entirely sure what to do about the 2 frags that have zoas on them but other corals as well. The plating and encrusting montis. I was thinking I could put them up high, wait for the zoas to get establiched and try to frag then off entirely and move them to the garden or wait till the montipora is fragable and stick the base and the zoas down below and let the rest of the monti that was fragged become base for them to grow on?

My blastos have been growing great in low light under my monti.

They're likely going to compete. 1 will eventually kill the other and take over the frag plug. I'd say that's a good plan and then frag the Zoas when you can.
