What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Last year we had school closed because of rain. :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:
But isn't it normal for it to rain so much over there right?

Supposedly one of the titanic cooks, I believe survived because he was so drunk he stayed warm enough to not freeze to death lol.

At least that’s what I’ve read.
thats my plan in this cold!

This is my third cup as well. One at home, one as soon as I get to the office and this one... lol
This is my third one at this patient's house. Lol I had half a monster before I left the house and a soda at my first patient's house.

thats just awesome. does anyone down there know how to drive in snow?
Oh yeah, it's similar to driving down highway 90 on the beach during a sandstorm. Lol I was kind of unimpressed. Now making a snowman is more difficult than I thought.

Whew! Caught up I think!

I don't refugium, my Fuge is an anemone garden with clowns.

Same as Joel, I've never had real success keeping a Fuge. I did grow Dragon's Breath macro algae once in a hang on refugium in the 125. It was doing great and grew quite a bit until it started being overrun with bubble algae and Aiptasia.

only hurricane I remember getting off from school was Gloria back in the 80's. only because power was out. they used to cancel school in CT if there was a storm expected rather than start. even sent home early. now with with at home schooling there's no reason why they should cancel. BUT, they feel the first two storms are freebies. just give the kids there iPads and let them be home.. cue Kevin....whats an iPad? ok, sorry, could resist. seriously, they don't need to cancel everyday. every kids here has there OWN iPad! yes...serisouly. and this "IS" public school!
For those older reefers, an iPad is like a fancy TI 82 calculator with pictures

ok ok....you asked for it....

With so much coffee..., how do you still have patients? :zany-face:

Gotta have the right kind of snow for a snowman

Sorry guys and gals! You know how I am when it comes to pictures of my food... I had two sweet pork barbacoa tacos with black beans and cilantro lime rice chased with the mint limeade for lunch. One of these days I'm going to remember and take a picture.

all that comes to mind with older reefers is paper! but I think I did have a TI back in the day.

So is the general consensus that my rock won't leach enough phosphates to get above .90 again in a week or 2 and that it was probably the cumulation of 9 months of leaching? And eventually I'll have enough corals to uptake the phosphate?
