Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Well then let's tag @tbrown and see what he thinks? I'm just worried that with my phosban reactor my phosphatesbwill skyrocket again to >.90 like they were before. So wonder if i instill a refugium with the chaeto from cultivated reef if i might have success maintaining the low phosphates i have now with a phosban reactor? Plus I like the idea of a night time time ph boost having the refugium on a opposite light schedule

There will be phosphate bound in your rocks for sure, leaching it's way out.
That's just how it goes.
A fuge is a much more natural way but the most natural way is by the corals using it themselves for growth.
After the years of gfo and gfo products and their use in my tanks I am a firm believer that gfo should only be used sparingly if at all and all attempts at an easy, more natural way of reef keeping should be implemented.
Just me and I'm no professional.

And BTW I'm also not an accountant in any way, shape or form so don't take my words to the bank.
Just trying to help, offer advice for free
I also spent my entire education in public school.
Like my buddy Kevin.

I just made my 3rd cup... Today is dragging.
wow, my 3rd was at 8am. been thinking of growing my own beans. just to see how it all works. anyone try it? I heard it's a lot of effort for a small amount. BUT, if I feed it to an elephant and wait a few days, I have real business.

I appreciate it Joel! I just went with a gfo reactor because I had one. My buddy gave me his, and a bag of gfo when he shut his tank down. So I figured I would at least try getting it into a reasonable range until it felt like my tank was uptaking the phosphates but that was just a shot in the dark

Feed it to a pufferfish and try that market out for size

only hurricane I remember getting off from school was Gloria back in the 80's. only because power was out. they used to cancel school in CT if there was a storm expected rather than start. even sent home early. now with with at home schooling there's no reason why they should cancel. BUT, they feel the first two storms are freebies. just give the kids there iPads and let them be home.. cue Kevin....whats an iPad? ok, sorry, could resist. seriously, they don't need to cancel everyday. every kids here has there OWN iPad! yes...serisouly. and this "IS" public school!

how many shots of whiskey in that? I think I need that right now!
That would either warm you up so you don't feel the cold or make you drunk enough to not feel the cold...

Supposedly one of the titanic cooks, I believe survived because he was so drunk he stayed warm enough to not freeze to death lol.

At least that’s what I’ve read.
