Looks like I’m adding peroxide to my shopping list tomorrow. I have a dumb astraea snail that is the spreader. Is that asking too much for him to go for a dip too?

I did this today! Not with zoas but instead a stylophora and leptoseris. Well, I actually scrubbed them with hydrogen peroxide, but same thing.

I did do a dip on my acan though, because it's not Doing well, the flesh is rotting.

Yeah. I thought you had to scrub with peroxide. But I’m going to give it a try without scrubbing.

I would just scrub his shell with h2o2.
I don't know if the dip would actually harm the snail. But, the hydrogen peroxide dip kills the algae cells, and the coral have a mucus layer that protects them from the h2o2. Snails don't have that, and the h2o2 could kill the cells on the snails just like the algae.

It’s not really an actual store. It is by appointment only and they do like 99% of their business online so when I show up they hook me up. Instead of 1-2 polyps I get like 8 for the same price. I bought that blueberry favia for the same price as online but got 8 polyps. Most all my frags from them have had quite a few polyps

Usually. But every coral is different. I wouldn't try with hard to keep corals, especially hard sps. But things like zoas, and most LPS should have enough protection from the "mucus" on them, that they should do okay. I would just do a more diluted solution, something like a 10:1 mixture of water to h2o2.

If you want to keep him, just take a clean toothbrush, or even paper towel, damp it with h2o2 and scrub. It has worked very well for me.

I'm here reading you all my friend, I was in the tank looking at the foxface that I managed to get him to eat just, he ate at the store yesterday but hadn't eaten since he was here, he is also quite shy, as soon as he sees me approaching the tank he hides, I also cooked the hamburgers and the argentinian chorizos
