Not good …drove off this morning with my coffee on roof of truck, trackhoe busted a hydraulic line first thing so we demolished a house in the rain by hand couldn’t wait for lunch to get warmed up and dry only to open my lunchbox and my thermos of soup flipped and leaked all over the passenger seat rest of the day felt like forever sat in a hour 20 mins of traffic on the way home wife left me with leftovers cause she’s away yeah it best be time for bed but waiting for the laundry to be done lol

And they have messed up so many of my orders lately... lol

They always say my driveway is inaccessible but it's because they are running behind and just blame "my driveway" meanwhile my mother in law drives a little Honda civic and gets in and out the same day no problem.

So my alk tested at 7.7 today. Same as yesterday and I hadn't lowered my dose of AFR. think I might keep the same dose and see what happens. Maybe there's a chance I got the perfect dose first try? :face-with-monocle:

Keep at it brother and keep tracking it. You'll find the "sweet" spot shortly. Then as things grow out, you can slowly adjust to keep it in check.

weird question but have any of you had your splatter hammer lose its splatter? i got a nice neon splatter hammer quite awhile ago and its doing great- except for the splatter!

I eyeball and it's probably not right at all :zipper-mouth-face: I feel like my par is probably a touch low

My lights aren't cranked up to max, would it behoove me to try turning them up if it seems my sps are slow to grow? In a few weeks after I get my AFR figured out and see what my new growth rate would be like

That was in response to what @smitten with ocean life wrote. But... to answer your question. I wouldn't just max them out and risk bleaching your corals. LEDs are quite deceptive at times. What looks "dim" to our eyes and what the light is actually producing can be two dramatically different values.
I picked up a cheap PAR meter from Amazon. It is the VBR-Aqua IP68. I compared it my friends $500 Apogee and it was pretty spot on. So... $130 compared to his $500 meter seemed like a pretty good deal.
