Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
That's pretty neat! Does the airstone algae up and plug if I go a long time without losing power? Never left and airstone just sitting before
I use a different one that I only drop in when I go away. When the UPS battery dies it will turn on and pump air. The tubing does get slimy if you just leave it in for weeks though.

Good idea...

Yes they can clog up. The idea is pretty good but I don't like leaving a non-running air stone in a saltwater tank. I have a battery pump sitting on a shelf. I went battery instead LiPO rechargeable so I don't need to keep it plugged in.
My one use would be on vacations. Generally, I have a generator and my wife works 15mins away. When my Hydros app tells my phone it cant connect, I can confirm with my cameras and the wife will go plug in the generator. That said, i've only lost power 1 time for more than a few minutes since I bought the generator 4 years ago lol. I'm on the same grid as the fire station and school so usually first to get power back

Same, I love my hygger, easy to program as well and for the price you can’t beat it.
I absolutely love the controller, definitely. Set it and forget it.

wheww what a day. i still see worm movement so im hopeful that i havent killed them all... yet!
my corals still look grumpy so getting ready for a water change.
and my stupid hippo tang is tearing stuff up! im so over him! he is always yanking plugs out of the frag holders and throwing them everywhere! i wish i could get rid of him!
and the other cbb died....:'(

Sorry your tanks being terrorized, and sorry for the loss.

@Calmwaters Any news about your husband? How does he feel?
He's doing better since they let him eat lol his blood pressure is still high but it's not as bad as yesterday. We still don't have any answers yet since he won't do the second part of the stress test until tomorrow.
