Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
I checked all the magnets in my tank and I didn’t see any that are rusted, the only thing that is rusted is that metal clamp on the return pump and it is not under the water and when it goes under water it’s only under for 30 minutes each week.

Also do I really need to test for nitrate and phosphate in the LFS water? I thought you have to test for other things in the water? What does the RODI unit remove? Because it may not be removing the bad stuff

Take some pictures; in some cases, you have to cut dead part, in other cases, you let heal. The experts will help in the morning.

More importantly, are the coral frags attached to aquascape or on a frag rack? You will need to secure better, or it will continue to happen.

There are really good videos on how to secure frags to scape I can send you.

Also, some frag racks really secure the plug in it; however quite a few brands don’t.
I rarely cut the dead off. Occasionally, if I can, I'll cut live off and make a frag with no dead on it, but I always leave the dead in just in case it comes back. I had a Fascination Favia 4 years ago or so that looked similar to yours at one point. It later grew back and tripled in size.

Yes junior test LFS water for whatever you can so we can either say yes, it sucks or move on to something else.

Ok sounds good

Yeah that’s what I thought but I can’t test for everything lol
You can test for what you can then ask them to see the TDS frome their water. ;) See what that answer is.

Good morning everyone!
Happy Friday!
How we doing?

Scully in da house! Grew up to that voice on the radio. Yes young ones, a transistor radio that you put up to your ear while watching the game in the stadium!

Or on your back porch with a big slice of watermelon; spitting the seeds at your little brothers!!!

Ok so I should ask them what the TDS of their water is
