Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
@Reef Devils if the TDS is 0, it's usually a good indicator that everything has been removed. Once that TDS starts creeping up it's not being as effective at removal. As it starts getting higher in TDS, the DI portion is likely starting to leach silicates into the water.

Scully in da house! Grew up to that voice on the radio. Yes young ones, a transistor radio that you put up to your ear while watching the game in the stadium!

Or on your back porch with a big slice of watermelon; spitting the seeds at your little brothers!!!
I'll always have his voice in my head, no matter who's playing.
He was/is baseball.

Seeing you in your duds the other day brought so memories flooding back....
Thank you for that. :)

I have! I'm currently out and need to order more but they love them. Right now I rotate between Sera shrimp food and Hikari crab cuisine. Usually only feed twice a week.
If you ever want to try something else I give mine shrimp envy and they love it!

Well, it was actually your postings of all the greats that reminded me not only what treasures were in my closet, but that I now live in the land of Dodger Blue and people actually smile when I wear out in public.

It made my day, so thank you Joel!

That 13 minute video will put everything together for you Parker.

The one consistent trait amongst this group, is we do a fair amount of research and learning (from respected sources, cause there’s a lot that sound smart, but aren’t). I know for me as a new reefer, it’s my base knowledge that i come here and ask further questions.

Don’t get me wrong- we all ask stuff on the fly, daily (ME), without necessarily looking elsewhere, especially during tank emergencies, so please don’t think I’m calling you out.

Also, I know you’re a highly intelligent young man and DO research for this hobby; my suggestion on video was just to get a deeper dive cause the RODI subject as a whole can be complicated till you understand all the ins and outs. And I still struggle understanding it cause I’m not academic smart

Now at least I know Monti VS zoa = zoa and favia vs chalice = chalice.
Just about anything against a chalice, especially my Rasta Rampage, will lose.

I don't know... My Riddler's chalice (basically a Raja Rampage without orange?) is touching my RFA. Neither is bothered.

Joel, how is the longnose hawkfish?
Phat.
Honestly so glad I got him.
He's becoming one of my all time favorite fish.!

They are the coolest looking fish - so Dr. Suess like. He's looking great Joel!

Ok. I can’t test for TDS but I can ask the LFS about it tomorrow
