Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Yes @cdemoss01 @tharbin mentioned an article or post about higher magnesium and it's effects on algae.
I've since upped mine and I'm having such a better time with algae.
Careful not to go too high though. 1500 is about as high as i would ever recommend. High mag will kill your snails and cause sps and stuff to get some funky growth patterns. Ask me how i know...

Good night Zach!

Were on I-84 headed home. Probably get in after 1 AM. Don't know if I'll be able to read everything I missed while camping. Let me know if I need to review anything particularly.

Wow, I shouldn't respond, or even read while on meds without a sufficient caffeine level.

0.034 is total ballpark for an SPS dominate tank. I wouldn't try to raise or lower them.

Thanks @tbrown going to take my nap now.
Haven't seen the response yet but I'm assuming he meant 0.34.

Just be safe Wes!

That makes sense.

I guess that is what I initially thought through my caffeine-deficient, medically-enhanced brain.

Even at 0.34 I don't think it is anything to worry about but if he's fighting algae, getting it down around 0,10 might help with the fight and shouldn't be too hard to attain.

It was what I assumed as well. I deal with ppm frequently in my line of work and my technicians frequently tell me .055 and I have to ask "You do mean 0.55, right?"

Since Hanna only reads from 0.00 to 0.90 I figured it was a "misspelling" but I always like to verify.

Thanks @Remi
Not very bright is what I am looking for.
How's the mount?
They are $300 for 2 used ones in nice shape, free return if they suck.
Or best offer 😉
The mount is easy to adjust, there are 2 screws to attach to the aquarium with 2 to 3 levels. There is also a screw on the top part to center it with several holes. I was never able to connect with wifi but can be done with the Bluetooth (ap mode).

Made it in safely. Trailer definitely needs some upgrades

Of course, it took longer with stops, but that's supposedly the drive time.

Good morning Wes, glad you and your family are home safe!

What?!?!?! #Smorgasbadafterdark is slacking, no music or shenanigans! I can’t remember waking up seeing notifications this low, not even close.

I'm already looking forward to finishing the remodeling of my in-laws' house lol, apart from the fact that I don't get any rest, I don't have time for anything either

Ya, I know you have been working your butt off, I was just poking the hornet nest for some fun. I believe you said a while ago you would be done next month? Have a good day and stay hydrated!
