Alright I have a quandary for you peeps. My rodi unit is making the same volume of water but it takes 1/2 hour longer. PSI is 80, I’ve changed the sediment filter, both carbon blocks and the DI resin is the original color. Any ideas!

Do you back flush it regularly? If the membrane is getting clogged it will take longer to make the RO.

If you changed the sediment and carbon then the membrane is most likely starting to clog. Do you know what your current rejection rate is? When it starts to clog the rejection rate usually gets worse as well because the membrane is starting to fail.

I find that I can increase output quite a bit by removing the membrane and blocking the flow restrictor.

Hello every and happy Monday!

Update for everyone on little River. He’s been improving every day since Friday! Today they are going to try to go 24 hours without any form of o2 treatment and he goes 24 hours, he will be going home with us tomorrow. Last night when we saw him he was breathing much better than earlier in the day, handling bottle feeding better and was perfectly sound asleep in his little Swaddle. They said they were going to see how he would do without oxygen late last night has more of a trial run but official take it off of him today. So prayers for him and his breathing that he can go home tomorrow! As for me and Alycia, we have to start moving to our new house today! So it is one busy day for us, haha.

Daily quote I don’t have one for today but everyone enjoy life today. Remember the little blessings and miracles that happen in your life and don’t focus on the bad or the negatives today. Change your outlook and perspective today to remember a minor annoyance or inconvenience is nothing in the grand scheme of things.
