Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
I came home to a gruesome sight.. one of my turbo snails from Reef cleaners got stuck in my maxi jet and was killed. Terrible.

Here in AZ bait/feed is illegal. When we sit in blinds (rarely) we use tripods and binos. When we sit on hillsides (most hunts) we use tripods and binos. When we sit by the truck we use binos and tripods...

We don't really have much service where we hunt. Weird thing but the deer and elk don't use cellphones very often so I guess Big Wireless refuses to cater to the ones that do.

Finally bit the bullet and bought the booster pump...

Luckily I have a public education since the lines were color coded...
It was taking almost 5 hours to make 5 gallons.
My water bill was through the roof.
I just made 5 gallons in an hour and 15 minutes 🙃 😅!

Afternoon my friends!
Top of the afternoon to ya Joel, I hope you had a relaxing day and got your batteries charged!

I've really never been this busy this time of the year my goodness...
The older I get the busier I am but I'd like to take just a moment and thank all of our Smorgasbord veterans for everything they've done and/or continue to do.

@Calmwaters what do you do in the blind all that time? Just curious. Is it shared or do you have your hubby as a neighbor for two locations? I mean, to sit there and wait for so long I think I would be watching a movie with ear buds, playing UNO, listening to audio books etc...But being how we get posts, you're at least communicating with us. We had a propane delivery guy come before the big switch to natural gas feed that said he and his daughter had a cabin in NH somewhere and they would just sit inside watching moving movies etc...until a motion detector went off and they would just open the cabin window. 😆 Why be cold, miserable and wet he said.

Something to try, apples. they seem to love deteriorating apples.

I have good friends in Safford and Sierra Vista.

Afternoon my friends!
Please make me!

We just did this today between making other food, shopping, boat work, playing video games...Well you get the idea.

Cheese Balls!
4 ingredients: Cheese Spread, Flour, Salt, Butter.

* 1 stick butter (1/2 Cup) room temp
* 2 Cups Bread Flour
* 2 Jars Old English Cheese Spread (room temp)
* 1/2 tsp Salt
* Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes

( for a kick, roll them in Chile pepper)

Remove butter from fridge and let warm to room temp. (~1 hour)

Place 2 cups flour into mixing bowl. Add butter, cheese spread, salt and mix thoroughly. A dough mixer is best.
IMG_3979.jpeg

Still not mixed enough.
IMG_3980.jpeg

Now it's mixed when it turns back into play dough type dough.
IMG_3981.jpeg

Roll into 1 inch balls. (larger flattens like a pancake when cooked)
IMG_3982.jpeg

little kids work great for how many you need to roll. (notice also kids inconsistent sizing)
IMG_3984.jpeg

Freeze for at least 2 hours on the baking sheet.
(Really you want to see it in the freezer?)
Keep in a sealed container, bag etc...afterwards, until ready to cook.

Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes until golden brown on bottom and serve warm.

these are a really great appetizer. you could also roll in crushed nuts before freezing but I really don't like nuts in food.

Crossbows too? Why would those be illegal?
Crossbows are legal fo during the rifle or black powder seasons but we can't use them during a normal archery season.

Because we're the wild West out here!
Colt Peacemakers: Yes
Greeners: sure
Crossbows: you're not in England partner

Let's see if I can make this make sense. During the average day when I'm awake my mind has a ton of thoughts going on in it at all hours the only time my mind is quite or focused on just one thing is when its close to the time that the deer are most active. It's always super peaceful in the woods so sometimes I'm just watching the woods and all the little creatures like birds and squirrels Sometimes I'm talking to God we have had some of our best conversations when I have been up in a tree stand or on the grind in a blind. I do occasionally check in with you guys or play a quick game on my phone but for the most part it's my time to just sit still and be at peace. I hope that makes sense. I do also really like taking pictures and ordered a zoom lens for my phone that I'm super excited about trying on my next trip.
