We don't have copepod in my place. We begin to find homemade phyto but I don't know what is worth.

I have heard that they eventually end up in every tank, coming in as hitchhikers. Use a flashlight and look at the corner of your glass when lights are out. If your tank is young it may be 6 months to year before the population is large enough to see some. The majority stay in the rocks.

I believe the vendors say daily but I dose 3 times a week. The vendors know more than me and remember I went to public school, take everything I say or suggest with a grain of salt.

What type of torch? I paid over $200 for a single head NY Knicks. If you are getting all of that for $270 it sounds like a very good deal.

Those are pretty but I think they're Rise BTA, not Rainbow. I could be wrong.

New. I hope to work on it more this weekend. I've changed my mind about a few things along the way.

Ceriths, Nassarius, and Strawberry Conch. Most snails don't frequent the sand bed. Those 3 spend more time in/on the sand bed. Nassarius eat leftover food mostly and not much algae. Ceriths eat diatoms I believe.

So it seems I missed the whole Conch party! I’ll go do some reading to better understand, but are there different kinds that you guys prefer and if so, why?

I have also read/heard that from various sources. And while it might end up being a small population if you don’t feed, you will still have them.

Imo if you have a pod eaters like a mandarin, I'd add them regularly.
