Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
I’ve got two astraea and have never had to help mine. They are workhorses too.

Also have trochus, cerith, nassarius, red-leg hermits, and now the conch.
Ok maybe I will get some after all I just imagined them falling really easily and then dieing

I've got 4 or 5 in my 125 that are going on 2 years old almost.
Well clueless on what type of snails I had in my OG nano tank, but all of them, other then nassarius were always falling on top of sand, and couldn’t figure out how to right themselves in a timely manner - guess I have snail PTSD! lol!

Weak/hungry snails are more likely to end up upside down than well fed/strong snails.

Also, if you get snails that scare easily they're more likely to fall off the glass or rocks when a fish swims by or you reach in the tank.

I didn't get the parts for it today maybe tomorrow I can go to lowes.
Just cover the bottom with something for temporary and see if that works. As mentioned previously, use a piece of duct tape?

If it works, you know you need the cap. If I doesn't we figure something else out.

Ah good idea I will try that in a few minutes after we get our pack of dogs fed. Lol

@Calmwaters ^^^^Try this. Will only take 2 seconds.

Also.
You need to check the venturi make sure there is nothing blocking the air hole.
Salt, etc. I had a baby snail get in mine.
This part right?
