Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Got it. What should I set it at? What should I try to be blowing?
Enough to blow away whatever falls on the sand without moving the sand, in reality you have to keep trying from less to more because it is difficult to accept a percentage without knowing how many gph it moves and so on, start with 20% and go up

Will do.

yeah, the angle you aim it at etc...It all plays a roll. Personally, I point my wave at the surface to irritate it. ok agitate it too. Helps with oxygen as well as it does falling through the back sump section.

I do the same with 2 of my powerheads towards the surface, another in the middle of the tank and 1 further down.

my mp40's are not aimable so I have 2 on opposite sides to make a nice swirly and the 4 returns re at the surface. The biocube though I just have the wave and return pointed up.

Dinner anyone?

I really need to start remembering to take pictures of my food. Lol We ate kind of healthy tonight with baked cod fish, broccoli with a little cheese and cream corn. It was all delicious!

I only have one that is aimable, which I have half pointing towards the surface and the other half facing forward, I have a nero 3 high up in random mode and that makes the water agitate on the surface too.

Help me and pick my next few fish (I have no real direction for this, open to most suggestions):

how do you make your cod? I like to baste it in olive oil, lemon juice, lay onion rings on top and sprinkle paprika on it.
