Man really!?? I live in Gulfport and work in Biloxi. It was devastated then for sure. Only someone that experienced it can understand how bad it was. I just walk the beaches and gig them or jig near the rocks. Trout are about to start biting too.

If you came back, you wouldn't recognize the place. A lot of the big homes on the beach haven't rebuilt, but we've pretty much made it back in the almost 20 years since it happened.

I need a trip to the beach... I don't even care what beach I just want to feel my toes in the sand and feel an ocean breeze...

So i think I finally figured out why my corals are struggling... my mag is at 1150. I ordered 2l of liquid magnesium, which should come by Thurday. Hopefully that's soon enough.

Go to the beach Amanda! You deserve it! I loved Fernandina Beach, FL when I went in Oct. It's right at the Northeastern corner of Florida, so not a terrible drive! Of course there's Myrtle Beach, too, which is much closer! Plan a trip!

I did hurricane volunteer work in biloxi 2009 and it was a mess but it was nice we lived in a old convent of a church for 14 days because the city didn’t know what to do with my group but desperately wanted our help the us army corps of engineers delivered us food rations,tools,vehicles and supplies it was a experience I did manage to get some night fishing in with a family we where rebuilding for got to show them what Walmart 6$ berkley GULP baits were all about one night they couldn’t believe how well they worked I would love to come see it again one day

That's epic man. We owe so much to all of you that came down here. It was one of humanity's finest moments. Gulps are my absolute favorite flounder bait! You know.your stuff. It's cool to hear that you liked our area. If you ever find a way down, we'll definitely slam some flat fish.

Holy mole Smorgs I’m feeling wiped and a little overwhelmed. To much excitement and stimulus.
I’m not going to be very active on her for awhile.
I’ve bit off almost more than I can chew but it’s very exciting and shocking what has transpired in my world the last week.
The amazing people Ive met and been introduced to that want to do whatever they can to help me succeed at an ornamental aquaculture on larger scale.
I’ll try to keep y’all posted on developments as they happen.
I love Y’all and hope you y’all are being happy filled with love and joy and keep on smorging without me for a few more days…lol

Yup. I hope my corals can survive one more day with low mag. Then after that I hope I get the issue fixed, and I can finally have fluffy and happy corals again!
