I lost the torch that same day, What bothers me is that they are corals that have been with me for over a year, but there is nothing to do. I'm only left with the helplessness of not knowing what caused it.

Improved my Phyto set up. I used two of the grow lights for our seedlings since last year I used 3 nicrews I had on hand. two 50w and one 150w for the seedlings. PAR is at 352 at the edge of the glass, and there is room for a 3rd jar. had to get another tub

I don't think Phyto requires a ton of light though. Mine's been going for almost 2 weeks now. I started it on Valentine's Day and cut it Sunday. This morning it was thick! I'm going to have to cut it early I think..


I'm using little Amazon clip lights.

Does anyone know if zoas can grow with just white light?

Zoas under white light are very brown/ugly dark purple. No good colors for viewing unless they fluoresce.

I hear a lot of people say "yea i can't keep those corals idk why" my only thought, if you were looking for something else to try, maybe an icp test? If you haven't done one recently that is. Make sure there's nothing that could have dropped too low or even gotten into your tank?

Or verify your tests are accurate possibly. Maybe your phosphates were spot on and your test mislead you and in lowering to what you thought was proper levels it tanked them

Whats the general consensus... been a few weeks and still waiting for my prize from the contest.. how often is too often to bump? Last one was Monday and was thinking it was abiut time to do it again

I have never done an ICP, maybe I need to try

2 lfs and my hanna can't be wrong, all 3 test 0.1 or 0.2 difference, I'm going to check this weekend and change 10 more gallons of water to see.
