Yes sir and then keep monitoring it. You'll figure it out. If you have a 10ml syringe you could even do 23ml and see how that goes... adjust accordingly.

Zoas under white light are very brown/ugly dark purple. No good colors for viewing unless they fluoresce.

I will probably do that, if it rises some more i don't mind. I was thinking I'd shoot around 8ish that way I have some cushion if it trends one way or another

It also works for frozen food, you put the frozen cubes inside and as they defrost they come out, I am loving it

I added some really cool acro frags and a plate coral yesterday. I'm not sure what happened in the process of adding them and changing the water, but 75% of my corals look dead. Most of my sps are bleach white and baring skeleton. I had a cool little branching cyphastrea that I wanted to show Wes, @Imrahilwjz but it is dead too. All of my euphyllia and my big meat corals are the size of dimes, including that big flowing hammer that you like. I'm a little heartbroken and didn't feel like talking about my tank today.

I hope my reef family is good. Hang in there and be good reef parents. You are all such good people in this little space we have here.

Did your other corals you had prior also look bad? Was the water contaminated? Only reason that would happen is if something was in the water.

Also, did you drip acclimate them? If your parameters are different than the vendors, that can happen as well.

Good morning everyone

Sushi rolls!!

Pretty simple.

- Grow light (does NOT have to be anything crazy)
- Fertilizer (I use guillards f2 formula.)
- Bottle
- air pump w/ tubing
- SINGLE strain of phytoplankton.

sanatize your bottle, first. I used h2o2. I siwshed it around, dumped it out and then rinsed wirh RO water. Make fresh, clean saltwater and add to your bottle. Add phyto to the concentration that you want, then add your airpump. Add lights, and let sit until its dark!

Jawfish is a real pig. He takes 2 hits of the frozen cube and it’s all gone except for a few trinkets the clowns eat. He doesn’t have any patients to eat one Mysis at a time. :face-with-rolling-eyes:

Bud I'm so sorry! That sucks big time, your tank was beautiful and you and I have very similar tastes so it was basically like my long time goal to get it looking like yours. Thinking of you today bud
