@kingranch2003 How did the corals look today?

My big green Cynarina still looks bad, and while slowly peeking back out, my euphyllia all look pretty weak still. Several of the new acros died as well as a branching cyphastrea. But, my bigger, corals and zoas/acans look good. I'm hoping the losses have stopped here. If that whole euphyllia arch dies, idk what I'll do. It's like half of my rock work.

What I understand about zoas is that the more light they have, the more color they will have but they will grow less in size, and the less light they will have more growth but less coloration

Maybe on the back wall and let them cover it? The lady I bought some corals from had part of the back of her tank covered in zoas and it looked really cool.

He said the way he would do it is start unplugging stuff one by one to see if that will show you which one has a short. He's not here right now but my thoughts are also if it only happened one time could it possibly have just been a surge in electricity to your house for some reason and the surge protector did what is supposed to do and cut off?

possibly. the sensitive stuff though was still working. like stove/microwave etc...Slightest glitch those blink. When I went in the sump, a bag of chemipure was on top of the pump. it's possible is sucked it in and created extra work the shut it off. it unfortunately caused some extra ATO water to spill in. Still in range at 1.024 instead of 1.026 so I shut the ATO for the day to slowly evaporate it off rather than try and increase the salinity to match. the heaters are two 350's and last night thought it was cold outside and inside is fine, it cold have turned both on which did it. tomorrow I'm planning to clean the skimmer.

Any way to check the amperage in the breaker cables, if more amperage is coming in than the breaker has, it is a bad equipment, if less is coming in it is the breaker that is bad, I would start from there

somewhere I have one of those. I'm thinking it's one of the pumps. the UPS alarm shutting down was what awakened me. That keeps the pump running. So I don't think it was the main pump. must have been the skimmer pump.
