I'm really glad to hear that. I just haven't experienced anything like this with my corals until now. I'm feeling positive about it brother, for sure.

Sometimes they are a little grumpy when being introduced to a new tank. Unless your tank and the vendors have the exact same parameters, its takes them a little to get used to their new home.

Awesome man! I guarantee you that sounds amazing! The older the flowmaster gets, the better they sound. Can't beat the sound of a hemi imo.

I'm not sure, when I had a breeding pair before, once the eggs hatched it was like a buffet line for the other tank inhabitants.

I'd go sar far as to attribute that to why I feel like a lot of corals feel like they stall out for a month or 2 then growth takes off once they really acclimate fully

I have never seen em this aggressive before! They usually just hang out and guard a little area, this time they are patrolling the tank actively looking to fight. It's wild

So sorry mine use to never bother me when I was working in the tank then they laid eggs the first time. Now the male attacks my arm or hand anytime it's in the tank. At least he doesn't bother the other fish...

Same here. Like I said in another post. I rarely post on socials. But, like you, I felt an instant connection with this thread. Like minded, hard working, big hearted...I could go on. But, yes, this is a family to me even though I haven't been here long. I bet @00 didn't have any idea this thread would end up bringing people together.

I think about that all the time. Joel, just somehow managed to get all the right people in the right place.

Hmmm... I've seen some falcons take chickens and they are about the same size as them. Also, Owls will take them too. I'm just throwing out my thoughts here and the GIF was just to be funny. Coyotes are probably the culprit.

From what I've seen. If you have a small tank..say 5 or 10 gallons, a sponge filter and heater it's doable. You will have to feed them live brine shrimp or something like at first... it has to be really small. If you do it, I'll do some research and post some "how-to" videos.

Ok what am I doing wrong I have tried just super glue gel to mount my frags on rocks and coral epoxy and a combination of both and still sometimes they fall off...

Glue on the plug, then a ball of mixed epoxy, then more glue. I find that giving it a little twist, will settle it into your rockwork. Don't be afraid to use some extra glue. It'll cover in algae in no time. You'll never see it.

I wonder if it'd be possible to plumb it into my 120g system and still keep it gentle enough for the fry? I'd prefer to not have multiple water parameters to maintain lol. My 14 month old and this one tank take up almost all of my free time as it hahaha
