Would it be detrimental to my pico if I run the light maybe an hour in the morning, then turn off and then run the light again for the longer time frame? Just trying to have it on at optimal viewing time line breakfast/supper.

I'd just have them come on earlier at a low setting and ride that setting until you ramp them up... won't hurt them a bit. Just don't blast them for 14 hours! LOL

Thanks, holding off on any fish for a while, or at least trying to, my wife has fallen in love with the two something-or-other Storm or maybe Storm something-or-other clowns in the display tank at AZ Reef Monster. I keep saying no but...

Luckily the ones they had for sale didn't do it for her. Might end up adding another tank.

Make sure you wrap it cellophane, use two ziplock baggies and then wrap it in tinfoil. Put an air freshener in there just in case. Oh wait... for his lawn? Nevermind. :zany-face:

Just to clear the air. I don't dabble in the devil's lettuce. Being a Federal Employee and Registered Nurse, I woudn't look good in an orange jumpsuit.

I love Gold Hammers. Unfortunately ours met up with the Peppermint Shrimp mob and devoured. hopefully on of my LFSs get another one in sometime. It grew from two heads to eight and then decimated to 2.5 in one night and it never recovered.

Sorry to hear that! If you lived closer I’d gladly give you a frag. I currently have a 7 head frag that is spoken for by a local guy.
