So, awhile back someone asked me to make a PAR sensor holder for the VBR Aqua par sensor and I did and since then there has been a few more folks to buy it. This Christmas I got one and find its pretty decent. Matched the readings from a more expensive one I borrowed awhile back (I want to do more datapoints). Thing is its pretty inexpensive in comparison to other reef expenses/par meters... by the time you're in for the Pantone app and the bag and futzing around it may be worth just saving a bit and getting the VBR-aqua.

@smitten with ocean life I hope all is well Jill. We miss you
If I remember correctly, it was his son's wedding this past Saturday and there was also a loss in the family the week before, She said she would be away for a few days and would return after the wedding.

Awesome! Do yall use shiners or jigs?
take a few shiners but catch the most on jigs, some times have it rigged with a jig and shiner. I tend to use shiners a lot if the water is muddy.

We have them around here but 1)idk if they are plentiful enough 2)idk if your allowed to harvest them 3) idk if the ones around maine are worth eating lol
You can get fresh lobster and other seafood... I'd not bother with crayfish/crawdads if I were you. You have to eat 1.3 metric tons to get full!

Mine aren't Kasa but they do the same thing. You can also make little programs that allow you to turn off/on multiple devices - feed mode, water change, etc. For water changes I turn off the ATO and return pumps. Sometimes I turn off all flow, sometimes I turn off the sump. One button for off, one for on and multiple devices are controlled.
Which ones do you use Tim?
