Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Why, They bite?
No, those quills are pokey. If they get mad or scared they stand them up in all different directions and you can't touch them without getting poked.

Yes, but don't have her open the bags
Why not? Just curious as the consensus seemed that smell was the best way to tell. Maybe only open questionable ones?

Have her take pictures of every coral in the bags?
Probably the best bet. Unfortunately the jobsite is a cell service black hole so it may take 2 hours to download all the pictures haha

Opening the bags is what allows the ammonia to start becoming toxic is what I've always read and been told. Or maybe it was pH to start changing rapidly... Either way, opening bags and leaving them in that water is reported to be dangerous.

Petting them isn't fun.

I had a Hedgehog named Pineapple once. I may have mentioned her...

Looks adorable haha. Idk why we didn't get one. We had a ferret once and the wife HATED the smell so animals that live in cages became a hard sell lol

Did you eat him too?
I know you were public school and all so I'll cut you some slack. Her. We didn't eat her. But we considered it, we just couldn't figure out how to decide who got which leg...

Ground beef is on the menu today ;)

We had Mexican Monday! Build your own soft taco bar. I didn't get pictures though, I missed lunch and ate like 6 of the things before saying oops, pictures lol

Hedgehogs smell if their cages get dirty. We kept ours on homemade peepee mats that we could pull and clean as needed.

Oh I didn't realize that went for corals as well! I'll just have her do a visual inspection. Anything that doesn't look noticeably bad would still be covered under the 14 day guarantee anyways

Is that like a peepee teepee? Because my wife bought a few of those for Oliver :face-with-tears-of-joy:

That'd be an expensive nibble :face-with-tears-of-joy:

I assume so. I've never used any of the extended warranties.

who's that guy holding you up on the air Kevin???
Lol all seriousness though, my great(maybe 2 greats?) grandma had one way back when and my mom used to tell me stories about seeing it when she was little. Would definitely be funny inviting people over for the first time
