Yikes this day has been rough.

Super stressful day, and then I come home and see that my foxface has developed white spots on his pectoral fins, which I believe is ich. He hasn't been eating meaty foods at all the last few days, he might have been eating some nori. I guess I'll have to set up a qt for him tomorrow and hope all my other fish stay healthy. I have no idea how I'll catch him.

Also, Teddy jumped up on to me and snuggled with me. Then he heard a noise and got up so quick, slamming my jaw shut, which actually ended up slamming my 2 central incisors teeth, one from the bottom and the other from the top together. It hurt so bad and I thought my tooth was cracked in half, thankfully I still have all of my teeth and no chips. But man, it hurts.

On a good note, my corals should come tomorrow.

And it is my least favorite part of the hobby lol. I'll take forever decided where to mount something. Then I'll second guess myself 1,000 times because, "what if I change my mind, or it doesn't like it there". It's so gratifying when it's done though

Ditto haha. I really want to start popping frags off plugs and gluing to the rock work, but i also kind of have a plan to add some more rock soon. I just have to figure out how to tastefully, add more rock for coral real-estate without it looking like I through chunks of rock in it.

Foxface can get white salt/sand looking spots on their fins that aren't ich. Mine frequently get them and I believe it's from another fish nipping at it

You can also snip most of the frag plug off with coral cutters without removing the coral from it. If you have open sand bed, you could add small rocks for isolated islands. And don't forget, some corals can go directly on the sand bed like plates, Cynarina, scolys, and zoas to name a few

Sorry guys we lost internet for a while probably from the wind. The fire beat my work is now at 50 acres and is 0% contained. All the other fires are growing as well with little to no advancement made on containing them.
